Hello,

Want to ask whether is there anyone had succeeded on registering, receiving and sending Gmail mail client on integrated phone messaging-email? I had try to set all like this :

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL: pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes (couldn't found this options on EL71)
Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes (couldn't found this options on EL71)
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL) (couldn't found this options on EL71)
Port: 465 or 587
Account Name: your Gmail username (including @gmail.com)
Email Address: your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
Password: your Gmail password

But still it's doesn't work. If anyone had any solutions, please share with me

Sorry, i had also activate/enable POP setting on Gmail.

And last, if there are some alternatives applications, i would like to try it too. There's some in here, but lot of it was Russian, lately i try Gmail java, it said i had a bad network signal, but actually it's strong signal i received

I haven't succeded in tuning up my E71 for Gmail account, instead I use Opera Mini 2 mod, it doesn't "eat" much of my gprs-traffic. I tried the built-in client and "MailMan XP" application, but it was unsuccessful. Although, other mail accounts, like russian @mail.ru and @yandex.ru work perfectly in both ways.

You can try Gmail Mobile application, here is the link to it in our File Catalogue (developer: Google, application site: http://gmail.com/app, language: English), it works, may be with some bugs about network signal, but it does work.

Also I just added an english version of "MailMan" (Configuration ID=56528317) to our File Catalogue, here is the link. But I haven't tested it by myself yet (may I misunderstood and even made a not-English version ). If any problems found further with it, write me in this theme, please.
The MailMan developer's site is http://www.mmj2.pp.ru/java/indexEng.shtml , you can create your own using the Constructor.

Thanks PaulS, i try both, first Gmail, still bug about network quality occurring everytime i try to sign in. And last MailMan, i didn't know why i allready set all parameter like i had above, but screen was stack and shown "COnnecting to POP3", for a long minutes, almost 15 minutes. Probably Gmail has failure on his system, i'll try it next hour.
